To me personal styling is about making someone look and feel fabulous.
The right clothes can make you feel more confident and show off your figure to its best whilst being sensitive to your individuality. I believe that style is not reserved for celebrities; it is something which should be embraced by all of us.
My passion and enthusiasm for fashion and design is the driving force behind CW-Style. Starting at a young age my creativity and flair for fashion was mainly focused on my dressing up box and then later through my education. I studied Art and Design at college and continued to pursue the Arts at Goldsmiths University. At university my creative abilities were recognised through costume design and production with ‘We-r-Reckless’ a theatre company for young aspiring actors.
After leaving university I continued to follow fashion but became more heavily involved in theatre and costume. I worked on many theatre productions and cabaret shows and then moved into styling for camera, working on photographic projects and styling new bands and actors. Inspired by the effect a simple restyle could have on an actor’s career I saw personal styling as a natural progression in my career
I successfully completed the NHJ Style Academy, an intensive training course on personal styling, founded by Nicky Hambleton-Jones, TV personality and previous presenter of 10 Years Younger. I was the only student on my course chosen to undertake a two-month intensive work experience programme. Since then I have continued working as freelance stylist and was lucky enough to set up this fabulous business in 2008.
Keep in touch through my blog or by tweeting me with your fashion thoughts and questions.
I Look forward to hearing from you soon.
